When: 26-27 June 2025

Where: EPN Campus Grenoble, France

Organiser: The Partnership for Structural Biology

The 5th edition of the PSB biennial Symposium will be themed “Machine Learning in Cellular Structural Biology”, and the meeting aims to highlight recent developments at the intersection of computational and experimental approaches in structural biology and sub-cellular imaging. We seek to showcase the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in fundamental molecular and cellular research and emphasize their use in translational and therapeutic contexts.

The Partnership for Structural Biology (PSB) is a collaboration between the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), the Institut de Biologie Structurale (IBS), and the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL). PSB member institutes are particularly interested in 3D structure determination of supra-macromolecular assemblies and subcellular structures, aiming to decipher the mechanisms of cellular processes. We have strong expertise in X-ray and neutron crystallography, scattering techniques, cryo-electron microscopy and tomography, X-ray imaging, NMR spectroscopy, and biophysics. The PSB provides access to advanced infrastructures and training for studying macromolecular and biological systems to both local and international users.
