HOW TO GET TO LINXS

Visiting address – LINXS is in The Loop building in Science Village, at Rydbergs torg 4, Lund, Sweden.

Postal address – LINXS Institute of advanced Neutron and X-ray Science, Mesongatan 4, 224 84 Lund, Sweden.

This is also the address for deliveries to LINXS, whether for catering, equipment, etc. There is space at Mesongatan 4 for vehicles to park temporarily, and an access ramp for larger deliveries.

By tram within Lund – The Lund tramway stops right in front of the building (stop at “Lund ESS“). You can enter through the door to the right of the tram track as you arrive and take the lifts or stairs up. The LINXS offices, workshop rooms, and balconies are on floor 3.

By train to Lund – Lund central station is surprisingly well connected to the rest of Sweden, Denmark and Germany by train. The German train website, bahn.de, is currently one of the best sites for planning your train travel no matter from where you start in Europe. The main hub connecting to Sweden is Hamburg.

By air to Lund – The closest airports are Copenhagen airport (CPH), which is about one hour away by train, and Malmö Airport in Sturup (MMX), from which one must take a car, bus, or taxi.

Malmö airport is quite far outside of Malmö, and can only be reached by car (30-45 min) or bus via Malmö (80-100 min). This usually makes CPH more convenient for international travel.
