When: 21 October, 2024, 15:00 - 16:00 CET
Speaker: Rajmund Mokso, DTU Physics, Denmark
Title: Multimodal and multiresolution X-ray probing of challenging samples
Abstract
Many of the scientific questions require a combination of modern analysis tools. The talk will specifically consider X-ray micro and nano tomography, scattering and spectroscopic techniques to shed new light on urgent questions impacting our environment. One example is the development of a new approach to foliar fertilization of plants, exploring advances in nano-sciences for delivering nutrition to plants in the most environmental friendly way.
Bio
Rajmund obtained his PhD from the University of Grenoble, France for a work performed at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility in Grenoble. His current scientific interest at DTU Physics is to explore the frontiers of X-ray imaging applied to biological materials.
